Who We Are
We believe everyone can make a difference. We don’t let the fact that we can’t change everything keep us from changing the things we can.
We believe if everyone agrees with what we’re doing, we’re likely doing something wrong. We live by the Dr. King quote: “Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.”
While we are not a faith-based organization, the movement behind our programs did start out of a church of young people who were passionate about serving others. We’ve evolved into a human rights and youth development organization pursuing equality for all.
Who We’re Not
We believe in the power of every voice, and collectively our organization is a voice for those not heard.
We believe in thinking outside of the box, in coloring outside of the lines, and not following the status quo.
